Aurinia - also known as the Marsh Fritillary, this intricately patterned golden brown butterfly is found primarily in the South-West of England. This beautiful butterfly is also one of our most threatened species.
The Aurinia Headpiece makes quite a statement. This is a large but very light, intricate floral headpiece is shades of gold and white.
Aurinia is very flexible and can be easily repositioned to find the perfect place in the hair and pins into place with hair pins.
I have used a mix of white diamond shaped glass beads, Preciosa frosted white glass pip beads, Swarovski and Czech crystal in white opal, sand opal and clear crystal, delicate white hand enamelled brass leaves, and natural brass flower buds.
