Ivory Rose Silk and Lace Headpiece

This is a one-of-a-kind design that started off as little offcuts of old lace that I repaired and embroidered with vintage silks before hand sewing hundreds of tiny Miyuki Delica seed beads in graduated shades of gold. I have also added navette sew on diamante stones set in rose gold for a bit of subtle sparkle. 

I have made the little roses from recycled Sari silks and, after, sewing all the pieces of lace together, have made a trailing leaf design headpiece that can be pinned anywhere into your hair with little hidden wire loops.  The reverse of the design has been covered with layers of tulle and I have added a wired structure so that the piece keeps its shape.

This is such a versatile design as it can be pinned into so many different hair styles.
